Everyone wants teeth that are brighter and whiter. Who wouldn’t? You will be more attractive. You will be more confident. Your oral hygiene habits will improve. Advantages: Your appearance will improve. Everyone who wants to get their teeth whitened have this goal. This is only temporary and the soreness will go away once the bleaching has stopped. This will happen if you are sensitive to the chemicals in the bleaching solution. Talk to your dentist about alternatives that you are not allergic to.

If the discoloration is quite serious, bleaching may not work. In this case, there are other, more potent options. Veneers or crowns are a good choice, but they are costly.

A tooth impression will be taken, just as if you were being fitted for dentures.  Then a custom-fit tray will be created.  You will take this home with you and wear it at prescribed times for the period of time your dentist recommends. Before you wear it, bleaching gel is put into the tray. The amount of time you need to wear the trays depends on the strength of the gel and the amount of whitening needed. People usually choose this method because it is easier and more budget friendly.

You will notice some results in a day or two. The full effect will be apparent within a couple of weeks. For people with  severe tooth discoloration, a combination of in-office laser whitening and custom-fit tray bleaching is recommended.
